• To operate the marketplace and show your listings to buyers.
• To verify your identity before you list horses or contact sellers.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. Contact details (email, phone) are shared with another member only after you or they submit a contact request. Your ID document is visible only to SellMyHorse administrators during account review. We use trusted service providers (hosting, database, email) who are bound to protect your data.

Data retention

We keep your account and listing data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us. Some records may be retained where required by law.

Your rights

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and stored on managed infrastructure with row-level access controls. ID documents are kept in a private, admin-only storage bucket. No system is perfectly secure, so please choose a strong password and keep it private.
